Beautiful Day: The Aquarian Sadhana

$17.99

by Sat Purkh Kaur Khalsa

Beautiful Day is meant to be just that—the start of a beautiful day for you and everyone you touch. Sat Purkh’s voice soars above this cello-driven ensemble. When practiced in sequence, the Aquarian Sadhana, is a precise combination of mantras, with particular qualities and energies that cleanse the chakras, purify the mind, and create collective consciousness. Enjoy individual songs for meditation or sing with it as a part of your morning sadhana.

Beautiful Day takes you on a journey toward the Self and the soul. Each step—each song—bringing you closer and closer to your highest identity—Sat Nam. Morning Call awakens the Kundalini and provides the root of your identity and practice throughout the day. Wah Yantee is a dance of the vocal and cello counterparts, lifting you higher and higher with each repetition. Mul Mantra is an homage to the artist’s childhood and the roots of her experience in sound; three part harmonies merge in a tight, cohesive sound. Sat Siri is where the soul begins to soar; the vocals taking you higher and higher. Rakhe Rakhanhaar brings in the flute, as a single voice sails above the three-part cello harmonies, a rich tapestry of sound. Wahe Guru Wahe Jio begins with a single line and swells toward a rich sound with multiple voices and a rich staccato cello line to sustain the energy throughout. Finally, Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru feels like a walk through the forest; the minor chords mingle with rich vocals and sweet harmonies of flute, cello, guitar and middle-eastern flat drum, culminating in a sound that will carry you throughout the day.
